Curtis Joseph Thomas, Jr. departed this life on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the age of 52. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Curtis was a graduate of East St. John High School, and he was employed as construction laborer. Beloved husband of Anika L. Thomas. Devoted father of Curtis Joseph Thomas, III, Jabian Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Clifton Lewis, Reginald Lewis, and the late Branika Murph. Loving son of Justina Simms and the late Curtis Joseph Thomas, Sr. Grandson of the late Eddie Simms, Valeria Simms, Victor, Sr. and Evelyn Thomas. Brother of Lance Permillion, Toreva Thomas, Trenice Felton, and Misty Jones. Curtis is also survived by a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
