Cynthia Margaret Bell, 64, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
She was born at Plattsburgh AFB, New York, on June 3, 1959. She was the youngest daughter of the late Edna Mae Fincher Bell and the late John William Bell. Cynthia graduated in 1977 from Thomas Sumter Academy and 1981 from the College of Charleston. She worked in communications for over 30 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Clara B. Canup of Monroe, GA and Alice B. Caste of Sumter, two nieces and a nephew. Cynthia is also survived by many dear friends and cousins that adored her.
Cynthia will be buried by her parents at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, 1146 Manville-Saint Charles Rd., Bishopville, SC 29010. A graveside service will be held at 4 P.M. Monday, August 14, 2023, with the Rev. Todd Fleming officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
Memorials may be made to the Construction Ministry at Alice Drive Baptist Church, 1305 Loring Mill Rd., Sumter, SC 29150.
