Linda Jean Morris, 79, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
Born November 9, 1945, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Horace LeGrand Morris, II and the late Barbara Jean Hutson. Mrs. Morris retired from Central Carolina Technical College. Linda loved her family, even the children she kept over the years she treated them like her own. She was a very caring person with a big heart and enjoyed cooking and baking cakes with her family in her younger years.
Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly A. Williams, Beth Ard, and Amy M. Ard; four grandchildren, Cori, Kristin, Jacob, and Alex; one great-grandchild Mila; one sister, Barbara Ann Grooms (Mike); two brothers, Allen Morris, and Ronnie Morris (Fran); several nieces and nephews; her feline Jack.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Horace Morris.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM at her home on Friday, October 10, 2025.
