Cynthia Doerr, born on July 1, 1946, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 79.
Cynthia was born in Charleston, West Virginia. After she graduated high school, she went on to become a homemaker for her family. She was a member of the Welcome Wagon, as well as the Episcopal Church in Ohio and Michigan. Cynthia always enjoyed bowling, golf, playing Bridge, and reading. She also spent her career working in the EBR School System in various office roles.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert Doerr; sons, Robert Doerr and his wife, Jo Andrea, and Michael Doerr and wife, Yael; and grandchildren, Amanda, Lauren, Robert, Eli, and Harper.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Marion McCoy.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Cynthia’s life on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Resthaven Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
