Cynthia Duerr Obituary
Cynthia Nell Duerr, a spirited soul who embraced life with an adventurous heart, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on February 7, 1955, in Villa Rica, Georgia, to the late Louis Edward and Mabel Inez Duerr, Nell spent her life spreading joy and warmth to those around her.
Nell was not just a dedicated CWA nurse, but also a loving mother and sister who nurtured her family with grace and kindness. With a wild spirit, Nell found joy in the simple pleasures of life-whether she was out fishing, tearing up the trails on her 4-wheeler, or simply enjoying a leisurely Sunday drive with her favorite bluegrass tunes playing in the background. Her laughter and zest for life were contagious, making every gathering a little brighter.
In addition to her parents, Nell is preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Duerr, Butch Duerr, Eddie Duerr, Charlie Duerr, and sister, Janice Henderson.
Nell is survived by her son, Bruce Jr. (Tonya) Jacks; daughter, Cindy (Ernest) Walker; sister Mary Pitman; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
As she embarks on her next adventure, may her spirit continue to inspire those who remain. Nell, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
