Cynthia Rejeannia Grace, 67, a beloved resident of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at her home on October 1, 2025.
Born in Austin, Texas, on June 14, 1958, Cynthia was the cherished daughter of the late Jean P. Grace. She was educated in the Biloxi School System and went on to build a life marked by hard work, kindness, and devotion to her family.
Cynthia was united in marriage to Jeffrey Herman, with whom she shared many years of love and companionship. A dedicated employee, she worked for many years at the Palace Casino and also at Lowe’s, where she was known for her strong work ethic and friendly spirit.
Cynthia found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful — family gatherings, gardening, shopping, and cooking. Her warm presence, laughter, and generous heart made her a blessing to everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Cousins; her mother, Jean P. Grace; her sister, Donnette Morris; and her nephew, Alec Hanshaw.
Left to treasure her memory are her loving spouse, Jeffrey Herman; her six siblings, Caroyl (Kenneth) Berry, Charlene Grace, James Grace, Velasquez (Tony) Grace, Yul Grace, and Derrick Booker; her six children, Cedric Grace, Tamara Grace, Joshua Grace, Karen (Karleton) James, Maurice (Natalie) Grace, and Latoria Grace; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; twelve nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cynthia’s life was a testament to love, family, and faith — values that will continue to live on through those she leaves behind.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel.
