Cynthia I. (Grusczynski) Krasucki, 76, of Gaylord, MI passed away on Sunday November 2, 2025. Cindy was born in Grayling, MI on September 9, 1949. She was the daughter of Joseph T Grusczynski and Ramona Gocha Grusczynski.
Cindy graduated from St Mary High School, Gaylord in 1967. She went on to earn a MA in Languages from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Cindy was proficient in English, French, Spanish and Italian. She went on to teach these languages at Wayne State University, various colleges and high schools. Cindy taught for more than 30 years. The majority of her teaching career was at Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
Cindy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother (Gooda). Cindy is survived by her husband, Stanislao (Stan) of more than 53 years, son Nicholas Krasucki and grandson Jace Krasucki. Siblings Jan Lewandowski, Rita (Greg Romej) Lindahl, Joseph (Eva) Grusczynski and Connie (John) Hunter. Sister in law Angela Krasucki Delsero and brother in law Ricardo (Vanesa) Krasucki and numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy was proceded in death by her parents, daughter Nina Krasucki, sister Phyllis Roberts, brother in laws James Lewandowski and Craig Roberts and Gian Paolo Delsero.
Cindy and Stan retired on Big Lake in Gaylord. Cindy loved watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on her deck. She loved to watch her grandson swim from their dock to the island and back.
Cindy and Stan escaped the Gaylord snow by spending the winter in Sun Lakes, AZ. She enjoyed her time there by hiking, swimming and playing Mahjong with her friends. Cindy was a social butterfly, always on the go! She was an incredible cook, helped anyone in need and always knew how to make you laugh with her great sense of humor.
A memorial service with a celebration of life will be held in late spring of 2026.
Donations in her memory can be made to either St Mary Cathedral School in Gaylord or Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
