Cynthia Ann Henry Mynes Magee, affectionately known by all her friends and family as “Ann” of Keatchie, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr. in Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Shiloh Methodist Cemetery in Keatchie, Louisiana. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Officiating will be Rev. Dean Register.
Ann was born on September 23, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Columbus Henry and Eva Dell Henry, her first husband, Ivan Corris Mynes Jr., and her grandson, James Christian Deas.
Ann loved her family and friends. She was a Christian and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age and trusted in Him until her passing. She also loved to cook and if she wasn’t cooking, canning, or putting food up for the winter, she was talking about cooking and doing all of that. She and her husband, Terry, of 47 years, liked to travel and see new places, visit family, friends and loved ones.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Terry Magee; sister, Estelle Harrell; brother, Billy Henry and wife, Martha; children, Michael Mynes and wife, Lynnette, Brad Mynes and wife, Kim, Shelly Edwards and husband, Aaron, Suzanne Magee, and Marcie Heard and husband, Brandon. She had 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends that she loved and adored.
Honoring Ann as pallbearers will be Jaiden Deas, John Aaron Edwards, Wyatt Mynes, Cody Wheless, Hunter Wheless, Ivan Mynes and Brennan Heard.
