Cynthia Sue Meyer, lovingly known as "Sammy," graced this world with her vibrant spirit on May 22, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri. She left us peacefully on December 22, 2025, in St. Peters, Missouri, surrounded by her beloved family, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Cynthia was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. Her outgoing, fun-loving nature was infectious, always striving to uplift the spirits of those around her. Phil Meyer, her cherished husband of 32 wonderful years, was her steadfast partner on both life’s grand adventures and quiet moments at home. Together, they explored the beauty of nature, indulging in trail walking and caving, sharing laughter and joy while trout fishing, and creating treasured memories during their vacations.
A loving grandmother, Cynthia held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Iris Vandiver-Meyer and Lucas Vandiver-Meyer, and her great-grandson, Apollo, showering them with affection and attention that made them feel incredibly cherished. Her joy resonated in her delightful stories and warm embraces, fostering a close-knit family filled with love and laughter.
Cynthia’s sweet independence and warm demeanor drew people to her effortlessly. She had a remarkable ability to brighten any room, and her cheerful presence was a constant reminder to appreciate the simple joys in life. Whether it was crocheting a homemade gift or spending time with her grandchildren, she always found a way to share her generous spirit with those she adored.
Her pride in her family extended beyond her immediate loved ones; she deeply cherished the bonds she maintained with her siblings, Roy Warner, Sharon Delaney, and Barb Brady. These relationships flourished through shared experiences, laughter, and love, reminding all of us how vital family ties are.
In her passing, Cynthia reunites with her loving daughter, Sarah Vandiver, and her dear parents, Roy and Mary Warner. They undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms, creating a spark of joy amidst the sorrow felt by those she left behind.
Cynthia Sue Meyer lived her life with grace and generosity, touching countless hearts with her great personality. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her husband, grandchildren, siblings, and all who were fortunate to know her. May we all remember her warm smile and loving nature, promising to carry forward the kindness she so freely shared.
