Cynthia Lou Nix, age 68, of New Lisbon Wisconsin passed away Friday, October 17, 2025.

A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Cynthia was born January 6, 1957, in Tomah, Wisconsin to Clifford and Lila (O' Del) Hofmeister. Cynthia attended school in Necedah, Wisconsin where she then got her GED. She married Ronnie L. Nix on April 27, 1991, in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. Cynthia grew up in Necedah, Wisconsin and then moved to New Lisbon, Wisconsin.

Cynthia retired in 2010, and spent her time with her husband Ron, of 34 years, whom she loved so dearly. Together they did many things in life and created many memories. She also spent countless amount of hours with her family, they were her biggest passion in life, she enjoyed watching the packer games, having cookouts, attending family events, birthday parties and holidays with them. The love she had for her family was incredible, everything she did, she had her family on her mind. Cynthia also enjoyed going to Pine Cove Bar and Grill to have a beer with her friends. Cynthia also loved her flowers/plants, nature/outdoors and her love for animals.

Throughout the last five years she has enjoyed spending time with her son, grandchildren and great grandchildren, spoiling them any chance she got!

She worked as a receptionist at A&M Plumbing in New Lisbon, Wisconsin for many years, along with many different occupations at Germantown Store in New Lisbon, Wisconsin.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her mother Lila (O'Del) Hofmeister and Father, Clifford Hofmeister

Survivors include, but not limited to the love of her life Ronnie Nix, her son and only child Jason (Fiancé Ashley) Hofmeister, grandchildren Austin (Fiancé Kaitlyn) Hofmeister, Tanner (Fiancé Mikala) Hofmeister, Chase Schwersenska , Holly and Cameron. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Everlee, Posie, Austin Nash, Bentley, Braelynn, Bexlee and Buckley. She is also survived by her sister Kathy Hardy, along with many other family members.

We also want to extend our greatest thank you's to Hospice and Palliative care in Tomah, WI for providing Cynthia with the comfort she needed towards her final days here on earth.
