Cynthia Louise Raynor, affectionately known as Cindy, passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2025, following a courageous battle with appendix cancer. She was born on December 30, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
Cindy graduated from Meadville High School in 1976 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in English from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, in 1980.
Cindy worked in IT until the birth of her son, Jason, after which she devoted herself fully to being a loving and dedicated mother and homemaker. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, caring heart, sense of humor, and love of food. Cindy enjoyed travel, books, games, Jazzercise, Yoga, walks and her grandchildren. Her faith was a guiding light in her life — she began each day with Bible study and prayer, which brought her strength and peace throughout her illness.
Cindy’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
Cindy is survived by her devoted spouse of 42 years, Barry Raynor; her son, Jason Raynor (Samantha); and their children, Brooks and Margot (beloved grandchildren).
She also leaves behind her mother, Peggy Spaulding; her sisters, Kimberly Goss and Melissa Drake; her step-mom, Sidney Knapp, brother-in-law, Craig Raynor; her sister-in-law, Cynthia Dobbins (Dean); and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
