She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Montclair. She loved reading Shakespeare and listening to music, especially her favorite artist, Frank Sinatra. Memories and condolences may kindly be shared at shookscedargrove.com.
Prior to retiring, she was an English teacher with the Newark Board of Education for many years.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph Salzano. Loving and devoted mother of Dr. Laura Borgos and her husband George and Dr. Brian Salzano and wife Connie. Cherished grandmother of Ethan and Zachary Salzano and Gabriella Borgos.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009. A Funeral Mass is planned for Friday, January 17, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 94 Pine Street, Montclair, N.J. 07042. Entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
