Cynthia Six Obituary Cynthia Jean Linger Six 63, of New Cumberland, passed at the Orchards of East Liverpool on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
She was born on October 16th, 1961 to Dr. Jerry and Polly Linger in Columbus, OH who survive her at home. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents William and Jean Graham, paternal grandparents Winfred and Eula Linger, and her father-in-law Norman Six.
Cindie was a 1979 graduate of Oak Glen High School where she was a cheerleader and member of the band, choir, and National Honor Society. A year after graduation she married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Greg Six, on May 31st, 1980.
Cindie graduated with an associate degree in nursing from West Virginia Northern Community College in 1990. She started her career as an RN at Allegheny General Hospital, where she has remained for 35 years working in Neuro Intensive Care and the Electrophysiology Lab.
Cindie is survived by her son Gregory Six II (Briana) and her daughter Carlie Reynolds (Matthew). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Keegan and Asher Reynolds, and Zella and Silas Six. Cindies greatest joy in life was spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is also survived by her two brothers; Jerry Linger Jr. of Cincinnati, OH and Bill Linger of Charlotte, NC, her mother-in-law Joann Six, along with many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters-in-law, and close friends, as well as her canine companion Caesar and her cat Chloe.
Cindie loved life and enjoyed hosting and attending parties with their many friends, including annual Halloween parties, hosting parties for her work friends, and meeting up in Possum Hollow. She loved to travel with friends and family and loved to go four wheeling on the farm.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Orchards of East Liverpool for their compassionate care and thoughtfulness during this time.
Per Cindies wishes, there will be no services. There will be a visitation for friends and family at the Arner Funeral Chapel on Sunday, April 27th from 11-3. Immediately following the visitation, there will be a dinner at the American Legion in Chester.
