Rodney B. Adkins

Rodney B. Adkins, 60, resident of Chester, departed this life on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born on May 28, 1965, in East Liverpool, he was the cherished son of the late Elza B. and Sally Canterbury Adkins. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Paul "Rick" and Randy Adkins, and his sister, Cathy Shaffer. A proud alumnus of Oak Glen High School, Class of 1984. He was a renowned movie aficionado, whose infectious laughter and sharp wit transformed every gathering into a celebration. Though he was the master of humor, he often struggled to take a joke in return, endearing him even more to his friends and family. Rodney will be profoundly missed by his beloved brother, John Adkins (Heidi), his many cherished nieces and nephews, and his special friends, Lish, Andrew, and Nova. In honoring his wishes, no services will be held; instead, a cremation is being arranged by Arner Funeral Chapel. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
