Cynthia Tivnan Obituary
Cynthia was raised and educated in Salem, a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1962. Professionally, Cynthia worked in the manufacturing field, especially within the electronics industry, having worked for esteemed companies including Sylvania. Later in life, she pursued her passion for learning by attending Marian Court College, a testament to her belief in the power of education and personal growth.
Cynthia was a cherished sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her unwavering love and compassion for her family. An avid reader with a deep appreciation for the arts, she found joy and fulfillment in a plethora of hobbies. Her creativity flourished through ceramics, needlework, knitting, crocheting, and sewing, each crafted piece a reflection of her artistic spirit. Cynthia's love for shopping often resulted in thoughtful surprises for her family, showcasing her generous heart and playful nature. Her passion for singing was a beautiful melody in the lives she touched, and her artistic talent added a vibrant hue to her family gatherings.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia is predeceased by her sister, Rita Macinanti, and her brothers, Peter Davis, William Davis, and Kenny Davis.
Cynthia is survived by her son Scott Tivnan of Gloucester, her sisters, Kate Svoboda and Karen Graser, her brother, Mike Davis, her grandchildren, Amber Jalbert, Jonathon Fitzpatrick, Briana Fitzpatrick, Jason Fitzpatrick, and Luke Beals, her great-grandchildren, Lorelai Jalbert, Emersyn Jalbert, Rue, and Sage, and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Cynthia on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at O'Donnell Cremations - Funerals - Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.odonnellfuneralservice.com.
