Cynthia Kay Udolisa, born on May 14, 1975, in Wabash, Indiana, to Randall and Rebecca (Bennett) Habegger, passed away on February 19, 2026, at Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. A devoted social worker and compassionate individual, Cynthia’s life was a celebration of her unwavering commitment to serving others and uplifting her community.

Graduating from Blackhawk Christian High School in 1993, Cynthia pursued her passion for helping others by earning a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Manchester College in 1997. Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to various roles in social work, notably at the Grant County Family Services (1997-2000), Debra Corn Foster Care Agency (2000-2012), Women's Shelter in Grant County, Indiana, and the Grant County Housing Authority (2013-until her passing). Her tireless efforts ensured that countless families received the support and resources they needed, particularly during times of hardship. Cynthia often went above and beyond, working to provide families with a joyful Christmas and tirelessly organizing events aimed at promoting the well-being of those around her. Always trying to improve the lives around her, Cynthia was an advocate for Social Services, serving on the Indiana Wesleyan Social Worker Advisory Board and the Grant County Counsel of Social Services.

Cynthia's faith was central to her life, and she lived it out through her involvement at Hillside Wesleyan Church in Marion, where she was a faithful Christian. Known as a social butterfly, she embraced her relationships with those around her, always radiating warmth and kindness. Her daughters were her world and often said that her greatest job and accomplishment was becoming a mother; she supported them wholeheartedly, attending their various events and celebrating their accomplishments with pride. Additionally, she played an active role in the lives of her nieces and nephews, expressing her love and guidance in all that she did.

The loving memory of Cynthia Udolisa will be forever cherished by her daughters, Hannah Udolisa and Amayah Habegger; mother and step-father, Rebecca and Barry Gangi, Huntsville, Alabama; step-mother, Rosie Habegger, Marble Falls, Texas; siblings, Julie (Mark) Wagoner, Winona Lake, Indiana and Daniel (Carrie) Habegger, Wabash County, Indiana; many nieces and nephews; ex-husband, John Udolisa, Gas City, Indiana; and special friends, Ty Boyd, Samantha Kaundinya and Heather Lancaster Abney. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Randall Habegger; and step-sister, Christina Degeest.

A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be held on April 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Hillside Wesleyan Church, 2510 South Home Ave., Marion, Indiana.
