Cynthia Patricia Big Horse-Uses The Knife was born on July 19, 1948 in Rosebud, SD to William Big Horse and Clara He Dog. Cynthia made her journey to the Spirit World on November 16, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Uses The Knife; sisters, Linda Little Dog, Celia Farley, and Jody Waln; brother, Lance Neck, Sr.; grandsons, William Big Horse, and Richard Big Horse, Jr.; nephew, Richard Big Horse, Sr.; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, Clara He Dog; father, William Big Horse; sisters, Thelma Black Crow, Sandra Black Crow, Caroline Big Horse and one sister in infancy; brothers, Charles Black Crow, Eugene Eagle Elk, two brothers in infancy; and one infant granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Richard Big Horse, Jr., Lance Neck, Jr., Robert "Bob" Eagle Elk, Alan Jack, Jr., Antwan Jack, Charles Black Crow, Charles Little Dog, Levi Waln, William Big Horse, and Rodney N. Bordeaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be Friends & Relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 1:00 PM CST on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Holy Innocents Guild Hall in Parmalee, SD with evening services starting at 6:00 PM CST.
Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Holy Innocence Guild Hall in Parmalee, SD.
Officiating: Errol Geboa
Burial Services: Holy Innocents Episcopal Cemetery, Parmalee, SD
