Cynthia (Cindy) Jean Wells, 77, of Rentz, Georgia passed away peacefully Monday March 10, 2025.
Cindy was born on April 30, 1947, in Tampa, Florida to the late Mr. John Wells and Mrs. Daisy Morris Wells. As a Training and Safety professional, Cindy dedicated her career to ensuring the safety, training, and well-being of others, going above and beyond to protect everyone. Her selflessness and tireless work ethic continued even into her retirement, where she found joy doing things that reflected her deep love for life. A passionate genealogist, Cindy spent countless hours at the library helping others find their history. She found peace and fulfillment in planting trees, tending to her yard, and protecting wildlife and stray cats. She surprised herself when she was adopted by basset hound. She instantly fell in love with the older dog and Cindy made sure the years that Sweetpea had remaining were the best ever! Regardless of what she was doing, she could tag you with relevant musical lyrics from all music types, new and old. Tina Turner was her main source of inspiration and was her and Cindy's personal favorite. Known for her honesty, empathy, integrity, and quick wit, Cindy could always be counted on for a comforting hug, a listening heart, a good laugh, and hard work. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and music. Cindy will be deeply missed.

We talked six days a week for nearly 17 years. We covered so many topics, had our different opinions, laughed, cried and were there for each other. Cindy made my life richer. She was loved and I miss her.
