Greta Sue "Wagoner" Netherland, affectionately known as "Sue", 80, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church 5046 Fulton Mill Rd, Macon, GA 31216, with Pastor Benjamin Newberry officiating.

Sue was born on July 9, 1945, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Mr. Paul Wagoner and Mrs. Reba Cole Wagoner. She lived a simple and peaceful life, grounded in faith, family, and love. She was a selfless and caring soul who found joy in the little things and in giving of herself to others. She was deeply creative and artistic, with a love for crafts of all kinds. Whether painting, sewing, crocheting, or scrapbooking, Sue expressed her heart through her hands. Her creativity brought warmth, beauty, and cherished keepsakes to those around her. Above all, Sue loved her family. She treasured every moment with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on in each of them.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 30 years, Harry Netherland.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Coppinger and Michelle (James) Bloodworth; stepdaughter, Linda (William) Harber; her sister, Mary Dodson; her grandchildren, Travis (Abi) Williams, Steven (Ali) Adams, and Stefanie (Sean) Zaragoza; her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Callum, and Lennon; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Sue's life was a beautiful example of humility, love, and faith, and her gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Sue's name to City Rescue Mission or Pine Point Hospice.
