Graveside services for Cynthia "Cindy" Anne Womack, age 69, will be held at 3 PM on April 5, 2025, at Rosebank Cemetery in the Flat Creek Community of Bedford County. Visitation with the family will be held prior from 12:30 – 2:30 PM at the Flat Creek Community Center (115 New Herman Rd Shelbyville, TN). Ms. Womack passed from this life Saturday March 22, 2025, in Nashville, TN.
Cindy was born on December 8, 1955, in Shelbyville, TN. She graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 1974, studied at Martin Methodist College and earned her bachelor's degree from Scarritt College in 1978.
Cindy was predeceased by her father Ben Womack, her mother Ada Womack, and her adoptive mother Sara Womack M.D., all of Shelbyville. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Terry Womack and Tim Womack, both of Shelbyville.
She is survived by her sister, Sara Womack White of Lakeland, FL, and brother Jim Womack of Shelbyville. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Womack of Shelbyville, and cousins Andy Womack (Cherry), Lara Womack Daniel (Steve), Lynn Womack, of Murfreesboro, and Ricky (Christy) Womack of Shelbyville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Rosebank Cemetery PO Box 1904, Shelbyville, TN 37162.
