Ronald Thomas Bowman

Mr. Ronald Thomas "Fat's" Bowman, age 72, of Shelbyville, passed away September 19, 2025. Funeral services will be 1 PM Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be 11 AM until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Ronald Thoms "Fat's" Bowman, was born the thirds of three boys on June 9, 1953, in Bedford County, to the late William Perry and Evelyn Jean Bowman. He gained his heavenly tattooed wings to be with his parents, September 19, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, maternal and fraternal grandparents, and a son, Jason Thomas Stewart. Fat's and his brothers were world travelers while in the United States Air Force. On September 16, 1999, he married the love of his life, Cora Simpson, and for 26 years they established a loving home until his death. Many loving memories will be cherished by his wife, Cora Simpson Bowman; two daughters, Antonio Lynette Hunter/Greer, and Lakita Buckman; stepdaughter, LeAndrea (James) Wilhoite; two grandchildren, De'Andre Stewart and Alexus Buford; two step-grandchildren, Kenslea Wilhoite and Jamari Wiloite; two brothers, William Perry (Sandy) Bowman, of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Robert Allen (Tessie) Bowman of Augusta, Georgia and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
