Cynthia Ida (Rocca) Woodward, 72, passed away in her home on October 2, 2025. Born January 12 1953, she was a lifelong Springfield resident. She attended Holy Name school and graduated from Cathedral High School class of '70. She was a gifted Creative. Her talents as a musician and natural artistic skills which she applied to baking were recognized in her teens. She became a devoted Mother in 1972. With generosity that had no limits and creative skills abound, her passion became focused on bringing joy to her Family, immediate and extended. The magic her talents added to special occasions will be remembered by everyone she knew. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the beach thoroughly. Her willingness to help others extended to friends and into her professions in Real Estate and most recently at TD Bank in downtown Springfield. She is predeceased by her parents Hugo and Genevieve (Albano) Rocca; brothers Roger, Paul, Raymond, and Richard Rocca and longtime partner Stephen Turgeon. She is survived by her sons Christopher and Timothy Woodward; grandchildren Fenton, Shaylinn and Rex Woodward; brother Peter Rocca and his wife Joanne and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Forastiere Smith Funeral and Cremation 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow, from 4PM-6PM followed by a funeral home service at 6PM.
