D.J. Glayzer, 61, of Overland Park, Kansas died Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas.
He was born October 17, 1963 in Overland Park, Kansas the son of James Audrey and Paula Mae (Fletcher) Glayzer. He attended Fort Scott Community College and earned an Associate's Degree.
D.J. was the owner of DJG Enterprises, a construction company, for over 30 years. He also bought and sold houses.
D.J. loved working on and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed camping, traveling, and drive-in movies. He was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and cow print. He was also a night owl and loved to go out with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Glayzer and Paula Larson; a sister, Connie Richmond; a brother, Darren Glayzer; his grandparents; and his bestie, Ed Williams.
He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Glayzer and his wife, Celia, of Topeka, KS and Eric Glayzer; three grandchildren, Damon, Aidan, and A.J.; his friends, Marvin McDaniel of Overland Park, KS and Mary Payne of Olathe, KS; 17 brothers and sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2025 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 325 S. Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067. To celebrate D.J.'s life, a visitation will be held prior to the service at 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Cancer Foundation and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa, KS 66067. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.lamb-roberts.com.
