Daisy Avellaneda, 32, passed away at her parents home on December 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 16, 1991, she was the daughter of Hilario Bustos Avellaneda and Yolanda S. Avellaneda
In addition to her parents, Daisy is survived by her husband, Edgar Carrizales Arzivar; daughter, Natalia Carrizales; siblings, Carolina Avellaneda, Griselda M. Avellaneda and husband, Braulio Ramez, Elizabeth Avellaneda and husband, Silviano Toledo Garcia, and Esmeralda Avellaneda; and special Aunt, Benita Carrizales. Daisy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles that she loved dearly as well as her special canine friend, Pooch.
Daisy had a heart for others. She loved being able to volunteer at the Community Soup Kitchen. Nothing was more importance to Daisy than her family. Her love for them knew no bounds and each moment spent together with them was a memory that she cherished forever. She loved cooking for the family and spending time with them regularly. Daisy loved music and dancing. She had a special love for Disney, and her favorite movie was Up. Daisy worked at Sentry Insurance in the claims department. She loved her work family and spending time with them often. Daisy loved all things yellow, and of course her favorite flower was a Daisy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 6 p.m.
Flowers are welcomed, or memorials may be sent to Community Soup Kitchen 112 W Oak St, Goldsboro, NC 27530 in memory of Daisy. If you wish to send flowers, the family request yellow flowers.
