Daisy Combs Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 7, 2025.
Daisy Faye (Peters) Combs passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025. Up until the end
Daisy lived a life of gratitude and selflessness. Her strength shined through the love that she shared for her devoted husband Russell Combs, her children Jennifer Combs, PhD, and Russell Combs, Jr and his wife Stacy and her grandchildren Mary, Nate, and Maggie; her sister Martha Jarrell; brother Richard Peters; brother-in-law Jay Combs and his wife Derrice; her numerous nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Daisy believed in unconditional love and that is how she lived her life. Always there for her family, friends, and even those who she did not know well but offered a helping hand to in times of need.
Daisy found fulfillment in life not only with her family and friends but also through her love of nature, flowers, hiking, birds, baking, gardening, travel, theater, and animals. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 12 years and a Cub Scout Pack Leader as well. Always a cheerleader for any activity her children participated in, Daisy was always their number one fan! While she will be missed by her loved ones, we know she is in heaven fully restored, pain free, gardening and dancing to Bruce Springsteen (her favorite). In keeping with Daisy's wishes there are to be no public services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Daisy's honor to the National Audubon Society (www.audubon.org) or the Imagination Library (imaginationlibrary.com).
