CELINA -- Loren Combs, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Funeral 2:00 pm Monday, November 10, 2025 at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina. Visitation 12:00 - 2:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.

My mother, Misty Raines, introduced me to Loren when I was knee high to a grasshopper. He would come to Hoosier Park and sit with my mom. They were the best of friends. May they both rest in peace. He´s in heaven with Mom & Misty now. Our condolences are with the Combs family. I would love to have an address to send a card. God Bless

Lorne used to come to my store to get his product what a beautiful old man he used to talking to me about Winston Churchill and me being from Scotland we would talk and talk...Im sure going to miss that man

i use to race against Loren and would always see him at the Celina fair always had great stories to tell going miss seeing him there

Loren was of blacksmith for many years, but most of all a true friend. May he rest in peace.

I had the privilege as a young man to spend countless hours with Loren. He let me jog my first horse, TT Bretton. Such a remarkable horseman who also taught me how to read a watch and talked me out of a tree why shoeing young horses. A great man who will truly be missed. Thank you for so many fond memories. My deepest sympathies to the family
