Daisy Mae Hart, 90, of Greenbrier, AR, entered into the presence of Jesus on March 1, 2026. She was born on December 22, 1935, in Conway, AR, to the late Richard Quattlebaum and Myrtle Battles.
Daisy to some, but “Little Granny” to most, was a sweet simple woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. She loved deeply, gave freely, and found happiness in the little things- especially listening to Elvis Presley. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, watching a good soap opera, and playing a whole lot of games; mostly, the ones where money was involved. Granny’s home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. She had the most precious mix of sass and bashfulness. She could give you a look that said everything without a word, then blush the moment you called her out on it. She didn’t seek the spotlight, but her presence filled every room with warmth. She leaves behind a legacy of strong faith, quiet strength, a little bit of sass, and a whole lot of love. While our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the arms of her Savior, whole and at peace.
She now joins her husband, Eldon; her parents; her siblings, Onetia (Dink) Hart, Dorothy Burgess, Johnnie (WC) Stanton, and Garrison (Joyce) Quattlebaum; and her in-laws, Emory (Rosella) Hart, Bonnie (Pete) Hart, Russ Hart, Helen (CD) Atkinson, Edwin Hart, and Larry (Barb) Hart.
Daisy is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Jerry) Dailey and Trish (Freddie Mark) Wilcox; granddaughters, Amy Dailey and Katie (Michael) Hussman; great-grandchildren, Emily Butz, Parker Dailey, Beau Hussman, and Andi Hussman; brother-in-law, Ray Burgess; sister-in-law, Pat Hart; and several nieces and nephews— whom she loved dearly.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd at 2:00 pm, at LifeSong Baptist Church, with the burial at Bethlehem Cemetery; and a visitation on Monday, March 2nd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Wilcox Family funeral Home.
