Gary Edward McGinty, 74, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, died February 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family. After a very brief struggle with cancer, he made it to his heavenly home in time to see his wife and momma on Valentine’s Day.

Gary was born November 30, 1951, to Buck and Bertha Pate McGinty. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lisa (the love of his life); daughter, Sherica McGinty; and great granddaughter, “Puddin”.

He is survived by his companion, Dianna Graham; daughters, Chasity McGinty, Tresa (Joe) Bobrowski, Paula (Shane) Vernon, Deanna McGinty, and Gina (Joe) Hankins; 25 grandchildren; 32 ½ great grandchildren; brother, Perry (Connie) McGinty; sisters, Joan Brown, Jean McGinty, and Joyce Johnson; aunts, Judy Zellner and Carolyn (Jerry) Coney; and many nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and close friends.

Gary retired from the maintenance department of the Conway Human Development Center. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. One of his proudest moments was killing a 21point Buck. He passed his love of the great outdoors down to his children and grandchildren. Gary had a special talent for collecting very loyal friends and he was the best friend a person could have.

The funeral service for Gary will be at Wilcox Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1:00pm with visitation Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Brother Gary Burdin officiating and burial at the family cemetery in McGinty Town.

Pallbearers will be Joe Collier, Perry Casey, Jackson Simone, Gavin Simone, Brayton Reynolds, and Gary Paul Hance. Honorary pallbearers will be Otis Lyons, Patrick Pilgrim, and Tim Boley.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Hospice and the many people that offered prayers and help.
