Daisy A Langford

Daisy Anne Ratley Langford, age 84, of Longview, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022. She was a beloved mother, a faithful wife, a devoted sister, and a loving grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Longview Missionary Baptist Church.
Daisy was born on March 21, 1937, in Marshall, Texas, to William Davis "Bud" and Estelle Ratley. She was the youngest of five sisters. She grew up in the Marshall, Texas area graduating from Elysian Fields High School in 1955. During this time, she met and married the love of her life, Charles Wesley Langford, in December of 1956. She began her banking career in Shreveport, LA and worked 40 plus years until her retirement at Texas Bank and Trust in Longview, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, her loving parents and three of her beautiful sisters, Verna, Esther and Betty Lou. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Ricky and wife Debra Langford of Longview; daughter Lisa and her husband Derrell Watson of Harleton; and daughter Lori Langford Nino of Hallsville; Seven cherished grandchildren, Richard Langford; Brittany Newton; Emily Pruitt; Erin Gates; Nathan Watson; Ezrie Gates; and Brian Nino; and six great grandchildren.
She is also survived by one sister, Marie "Doodle" Hopson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She also leaves behind her beloved boys, Jack and Charlie, along with her grand dogs.
The family of Mrs. Langford will greet friends and family members at Welch Funeral Home, on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Services will be held at 11:00 AM in the chapel of welch funeral home.
