Daisy Lee Powell, 75, of Woodville, Texas passed away Monday January 19, 2026.

Daisy Lee Powell was born on November 20, 1950, to Clark and Annie Mae Powell. She attended Scott High School, where she graduated, and later continued to reside in Hillister, Texas, a place she proudly called home throughout her life. Daisy exuded a vibrant and sociable personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Those who knew her would readily attest to her warm and welcoming nature, as she never shied away from engaging with new individuals. Her charismatic demeanor, infectious laughter, witty banter, and captivating stories endeared her to all. Daisy possessed a remarkable spirit with the ability to uplift others, bringing joy and comfort wherever she went. Her deep love for her family and friends was evident through her selfless actions, as she was always willing to help without hesitation. Daisy Lee Powell was truly one of a kind.

Daisy Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Annie Mae Powell; her brothers, Sylvester, Clark, and Jimmy Powell; and her sisters, Helen Rigsby, Odessa Bowen, Lola Johnson, Bertha Weaver, Mary Brooks and Faye Dell Evans.

Daisy Lee's memory will forever be cherished by her beloved sons, Clinton Adams of Beaumont, Texas, and Tyrone Adams of Woodville, Texas; her grandchildren, Clinton "Poppa" Adams, Kurdjah Adams, Christopher Adams, Kayden Adams, and Quinton Ewings; her sisters, Eula Lee of Hillister, Texas; Vivian St. Clair of Tallahassee, Al. and her brother, Ross "Nat Roe" Powell of Hillister, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Perlie Powell and Joyce Powell, and her close and dear friend, Billie Jo Foster.

She is also lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of friends whose lives she touched with her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.

Daisy Lee Powell's legacy of love, generosity, and joy will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
