Daisy Westover passed away on May 28, 2025 at CHI Lakewood Health Center in Baudette at the age of 87.
Daisy Louise (Wilson) Westover was born to Leon and Elvira (Hartnell) Wilson on August 10, 1937 at the Hartnell farm near Williams, MN, the oldest of 5 girls.
Daisy was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church in Williams. She graduated from Williams High School in 1955 and attended one year at LBI.
Daisy met the love of her life, Jack Westover at a St. Patrick's Day dance in Williams on March 17, 1957. Daisy and Jack were united in marriage on June 21, 1958. Into this marriage came 5 children.
They lived on the Westover family farm in Manitou, where they farmed. They moved into Baudette in 1987.
Daisy was active at both the Birchdale and Baudette Congregational Churches. She volunteered at the nursing home in Baudette. Raising her family was her main focus.
Daisy is survived by her children, Neil (Debbie), Pam Skaggs, Paul (Tammy), Dean, Dale (Lynn); 10 grandchildren, Shannon Westover, Jessi (Kevin) Oveson, JR (Kya) Westover, Allen (Jennifer) Cauble, Crystal Cauble, Brandy Sandeen, Mindy (Ryan) Stallcop, Kristin (Joey) Westover, Melissa (James) Colliflower, Jason Westover; 20 great-grandchildren, Ella, Anissa, Altyn, Haven, Jack, Evelynn, McKenna, Lila, Riley, Beckett, Billye, Maleena, Dylan, Amyia, Dylan, Claire, Charliann, Morgann, Ellizabeth (Jason), Emma; great-great-grandson Asher; sisters Judi (Don) Senkyr, Jane (Roger) Anderson, Mary (Gary) Bagne; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Daisy is preceded in death by her husband Jack of 60 years, parents Leon and Elvira Wilson, and step-mother Mae (Olson) Wilson, in-laws Harold and Evelyn Westover, infant sister Adelaide Wilson, sister Grace Sonstegard, step-brother Melford Olson, sister and brothers-in-law William "Bill" Westover, Norma (Duane) Ulrich, Yvonne (Harold) Wittler, grandson Jacob Osborn, nieces Linda Monkman and Lynn Furbish, nephews Jackie Senkyr and Kent Wittler.
