Dajon Jeree Thomas

Dajon Jeree' Thomas was born on August 28, 1995, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Larry L.

Wells Jr. and Laketia R. Thomas. From an early age, Dajon displayed quiet strength, a

bright spirit, and a smile that could light up any room.

He was a proud graduate of North Central High School, Class of 2014, and continued

his education at Wabash College, earning a bachelor's degree in Classics and Art

History in 2018. While at Wabash, Dajon pledged Phi Kappa Psi, Indiana Gamma

Chapter, in 2014, forming lifelong bonds of brotherhood and leadership. In 2021, he

earned his Paralegal Certificate, with aspirations of attending law school.

Lacrosse was one of Dajon's greatest passions. He began playing at an early age and

went on to compete with Northside Lacrosse, North Central High School, and Wabash

College. Beyond the field, Dajon dedicated his time to coaching, mentoring youth,

stringing lacrosse sticks, and inspiring others to love the game. His influence within the

lacrosse community will be remembered for years to come.

He enjoyed playing basketball with his brother and cousins and loved games, especially

Jenga, though humble about it, he was well known among those closest to him for his

delicious gumbo.

His laughter, warmth, and genuine love will be deeply missed. Though his life was far

too short, his legacy will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie E. Thomas and Larry L. Wells Sr.,

and his beloved aunt, Latrice Lewis. He leaves his precious memories to be cherished

by his loving mother, Laketia Thomas; father, Larry L. Wells Jr.; grandmothers, Yvette

Humphrey and Deborah Wells; brothers Derrick Griffin Jr., Larry Wells III, Steven

Rhodes, Royal Wells, and Adonnis McGraw; sisters Aunya Wells and London Thomas;

goddaughter Layla Wilson; godsons Kai and Maddox Smith; best friends Colin, Adam,

Connor, Rob, and Lexie; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear

friends whose lives he touched.
