Dakota Michael "Kody" Weber (Rodden), 19, of Edwardsburg, Michigan, passed away on April 25, 2025, in Coloma, Michigan. Born on April 26, 2005, in Goshen, Indiana, Kody brought light and warmth to all who knew him. Memorial contributions may be made to Berrien County Suicide Prevention Coalition. Those wishing to leave an online condolence for the family may do so at www.clarkch.com.
A proud graduate of Edwardsburg High School's Class of 2023, Kody embraced life with an open heart and an adventurous spirit. He found joy in the simple pleasures-attending car meets, gathering around bonfires with friends and family, singing along at concerts, and embarking on spontaneous road trips. His love for spending time with those he cared about was evident in every aspect of his life.
Kody's caring and loving nature touched everyone he encountered. He believed deeply in standing up for what was right and lived by a code of loyalty and kindness. Always ready to lend a hand or offer support, Kody never met a stranger; to him, every new face was simply a friend he hadn't met yet.
He leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish his memory: his Mother, Carrie Weber; Dad, Chris Weber; Father, Ian Rodden; Brothers Conner Weber, Kyle Weber, Damian Weber, and Travis Weber; Sister Alexia Weber; Godbrother Camden Foreman; Papa Donald Duncan; Grandpa Tom Stewart (Gabe); Grandma Joan Weldy (Denny); Aunt Amber Horton (Tony); Uncle Steve Hayes; Aunt Jennifer Fiscus (Randy); Uncle Mike Weber (Gena); Uncle Jason Weber (Kristin); Nephews Kayden Boss, Killian Boss, Isaiah Henry, Hunter Henry, and Greyson Weber; Cousins Aubree, AJ, Dominic, Christian, Remington and Paxton; Great Aunt and Uncle Gene and Lisa Duncan; Second Cousins Stephanie Hartline, Jamie Hamilton (Nate); Third Cousins Tre Willard, Korbin Hamilton and Katelynn Hartline. He also left behind an astounding number of friends that were family to him.
Kody is reunited in peace with his Godmother Ambrosia Foreman (2011), Grandmother Karen Duncan (2024) and Grandfather Lyman "Sunny" Weber (2023), Great Grandmother Garnet Duncan (2011), Great Grandfather Donald Duncan Sr. (2004)
In the 19 years Kody had on this earth, he made more of an impact with just his heart than most could dream of accomplishing in a lifetime. He created a legacy of love, compassion and helping others that will now be carried on by everyone he loves.
A short service will be held on Saturday May 3rd, 2025, at 11 am at Mottville Community Church located at 10221 John St, White Pigeon, Mi 49099.
