Dale Posey Anthoine

Marjorie Dale (Posey) Anthoine, 82, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 17, 2026.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.

Dale was born on February 19, 1944, to the late Felton Posey and Delia (Gaultney) Posey. She lived a full and meaningful life rooted in her love for family, community, and simple joys.

Dale dedicated many years of service to Taylor County Drugs before retiring. She was also the former owner and operator of Reynolds Flowers and Gifts, where she shared her passion for flowers with the community. Dale found great joy in flower gardening and reading, hobbies that reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for beauty and quiet moments.

In addition to her parents, Dale was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Anthoine, daughter Kim Logue, and her son-in-law, Andy Dykes.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her daughter, Kelly Dykes of Reynolds, Georgia; her grandson, Eric Tucker Logue of Reynolds, Georgia; her sister, Doni Whitley of Marietta, Georgia; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Dale will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
