Rose Gerow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Mar. 9, 2026.
Rose Ellen Gerow (Medley), 68, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. She was born on January 18, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Estel Medley and Oneida Ruth (Waters) Medley.

Rose was known for her strong work ethic and kind, generous heart. She worked for Frito-Lay for over 20 years, where she was respected for her dedication and reliability. In addition to her career, Rose and her beloved husband, Richard F. Gerow, owned and operated a restaurant together. The two spent many years working side by side, pouring their time and effort into their business and building a life together through hard work and determination.

Those who knew Rose will remember her as one of the sweetest and most giving people you could ever meet. She had a selfless spirit and was always willing to help others-often said to be the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.

Rose also had a special love for dogs and found joy in their companionship. In her quiet time, she enjoyed relaxing and watching television, especially her favorite show, Gunsmoke, which she never missed.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard F. Gerow; her parents, Estel Medley and Oneida Ruth (Waters) Medley.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister of the heart, Sunnie Campos, and her niece of the heart, Jamie Chamblee, along with many friends and loved ones whose lives were touched by her kindness.

Rose will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her.

With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with handling arrangements.
