Dale R. Ditman, age 64, passed away peacefully on Monday October 28, 2024 at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center in Masury.
Dale was born June 20, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Delores A. Ruse Pelanda.
He was a 1979 graduate of Austintown High School.
Dale was the owner/operator of Dale's Amoco in Hubbard for 15 years, and later was a supervisor for many years at IAC.
He was a former volunteer firefighter for the Hubbard Joint Eagle Fire District for 21 years, and enjoyed riding down Main Street in the old clown car in the Christmas parades.
While on the fire department he was also a member of Trumbull County DMAT Team and Metro Arson Task Force.
He was also very involved in Hubbard Volleyball while his daughters were growing up. Dale had many jobs and hobbies over the years. He loved to spend time with friends and family but most importantly Dale enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Dale leaves his two daughters, Shelby (Mathew) Ezzo of Hubbard, Tiffany (Dan) Moffitt of Hubbard, and three grandchildren Riley, Cady, and Garrett.
He also leaves his sister Pam (Samuel) Shaffer of East Liverpool, Ohio, his brother Norman Ditman of Canfield, and a niece Kimberly Shaffer of East Liverpool.
He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father Frank Pelanda, and grandmother Dorothy Ruse.
His daughter Shelby would like to thank the staff at Traditions Health Hospice for all of their help over the years.
Per Dale's wishes there will be no calling hours or services.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Traditions Hospice 4531 Belmont Avenue Youngstown, Ohio 44505.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
