Dale Lee Eickmeier, 84, of Westhope, Ohio, passed away on Dec. 15 at his residence in Frostproof, Florida.
He was born in Westhope, Ohio, Henry County, Richfield Township, on Aug. 30, 1940, of the late Alvah and Arlene (Ward) Eickmeier.
He married Lucille (Lange) on June 23, 1962, at Westhope Bible Church, and she survives.
Also surviving are his son, Daniel (Ann) Eickmeier of Rome, New York; his daughters, Laurie (Ernie, deceased) Lawrence of Deshler, Ohio, Cindy (John) Arps of Wauseon, Ohio, Mary (Dennis) Moszkowicz of Toledo, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Charlene (Bill) Elliott, Malinta, Ohio, Averell (Lee) Simmons, Cape Canaveral, Florida; his brother, Duane Eickmeier, McClure, Ohio; and his sister-in-law, Linda Eickmeier, of Malinta, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Gale Eickmeier.
He graduated from Deshler High School in 1959. He was a farmer at heart working the land on his farm near Westhope.
He worked as a bus driver and a custodian at Patrick Henry High School, and also at Hope School. After he retired, he spent his winters in Frostproof, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m.
