Nancy Bea Lange, 92, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026.
She was born in Malinta, Ohio, on Feb. 6, 1933, to the late Theodore and A. Ione (Eisaman) Detmer. On Jan. 18, 1958, Nancy married Kenneth Lange in Napoleon.
Nancy was a member of Emanual Lutheran Church, Napoleon, and a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flatrock. She dedicated her time service the community as a coordinator for the Red Cross Blood Drives, a member of the Soroptimist Club, Henry County Republican Women's Club and even ran for city office at one time.
Nancy was a talented seamstress who made clothes for the family, as well as altered clothing for others. The family loved to spend time together traveling and camping all over the United States and locally enjoyed Harrison Lake and Spring Lake.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ken; daughters, Dawn Leitner and Suzette (Brent) Gerken; grandchildren, Amber (Brandon) Yost, Laura (Kevin) Ash, Christopher (Natalie) Leitner, Randy (Leslie Flory) Leitner and Elizabeth (Bryce) Baden; great-grandchildren, Ryan, William, Harper, Cooper, Molly, Kayson and Meadow; and sister, Sally Rettig.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son-in-law, Rick Leitner; and siblings, Warren Detmer, Darlene Wells, Jerry Detmer and Jack Detmer.
Friends and family will be received at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at noon. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emanual Lutheran Church.
