Dale Paul Evans, 70, of rural Rossville, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at his home in rural Rossville. He was born April 24, 1953, in Burtonwood Lancashire, England to Harry William and Myrtle Margaret (Bishop) Evans. His first wife, Margaret Peggy 'Peg' Capps preceded him in death. On February 12, 2010, he married Connie (Christiansen); she survives.
Dale graduated from high school then joined the US Navy. After his time in the Navy, Dale drove a semi for over 25 years. He was also a certified electrician and had worked for Wagner Electric in Lafayette. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, traveling, and building model ships.
Dale is survived by his wife, Connie; stepdaughter, Margaret Zoe Smart; step son, Robert Moore of Delphi and Darrell Moore of Rossville; brother, Andy (Mel) Wing of Denver, Colorado; and special friends, Demetrius and Mellisa Knop of Rossville.
In addition to his parents and first wife, Dale is preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Evans; son, Justin Evans; stepdaughter, Crystal Hitch; and a sister Denise.
Per Dale's wishes, no services are planned. Memorial donations may be made to the Lafayette Cancer Center 1345 Unity Place, Suite 135 Lafayette, IN 47905 Online condolences may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
