Dale Leroy Feltenberger, 84, lifetime Nowata resident, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, in Bartlesville. Dale was born on Aug. 22, 1941, in Coffeyville, KS, to Almeda and Adrian Feltenberger. He grew up in Nowata and was a graduate of Nowata High School in 1959, continuing his education at the University of Oklahoma acquiring a degree in business administration. He worked in the oilfield supply business at various locations, finishing his career with the postal service retiring in 2003. Dale spent his retirement as a caretaker and pursuing his hobby of fishing. He attended the First Church of God where he loved being with his church family.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Almeda and Adrian, sisters LaDena Baker and Shirley Wood, and his brother, Jerry Feltenberger. He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Tiffany and Rick Schildge of Grapevine, Tx.; grandchildren Jordan Jenkins, Lindsay Jenkins, and Taylor Schildge; and his great granddaughter, Isla Jenkins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends, especially his good friend, Mike Jordan.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at 1:00pm in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Nowata with Pastor Wendell Abbott officiating the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Benjamin Funeral Service, Nowata, 918-273-2700. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemoriesnowata.com or on the funeral home Facebook page.
