Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory - LubbockDale Robert Kincer, born July 13, 1939, in Boyd, Texas, to Louis and Dorothy Kincer, passed away leaving behind a legacy of hard work, love, and cherished memories.
Dale was known, above all else, for his tireless work ethic. Right out of high school, he went to work for the railroad before serving as a postman. His drive and determination later led him to build a successful business, LT Kincer Company, which became known worldwide for supplying industrial agricultural chemicals and equipment. There were two versions of Dale, before Carole and after Carole. From the day he met his beloved wife, Carole, his life was forever changed. She became his rock, his partner, and the person who held their family together. Dale often said Carole made him a better man, and together they built a life filled with love, accountability, and strength.
Outside of work, Dale found joy in woodworking, a craft he passed down proudly to his children and grandchildren. His true passion, however, was golf. From his younger years, golf held a special place in his heart, and he relished every round. His fierce but lighthearted rivalry with his brother, Denny, created countless unforgettable moments filled with playful trash talk, competition, and laughter. Ever the competitor, Dale’s mission was to beat Denny on the course and chase after the two hole-in-ones that Carole had claimed throughout the years.
Dale’s story is one of resilience, love, and family. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments and hard work but also for the way he lived, with determination, humor, and a devotion to the people he loved most.
Dale is survived by his sons, Auvie Dale Kincer and Donny Kincer, daughter, Dawnann Redding, step son, Jeff Knowles, step daughters, Carole Tuttle and Neisha Smyers, 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Dorothy Kincer.
A memorial service will be held September 13, 2025 at 10 AM in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
