Dale Robert Kroll, 79, of Green Bay passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay.
Dale was born on May 26, 1942 in Green Bay to Robert and Ruth (Campbell) Kroll. Dale attended Green Bay Schools and then served his country in the National Guard from 1963-1971. On April 23, 1966, he married Cheryl Walker in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2017. Over the years, Dale was a machine operator for Green Bay Packaging.
Dale was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was involved in Calvary Players and Grumpies. Dale enjoyed woodworking and volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
Dale is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Tim (Brooke) Kroll; seven brothers and sisters: Curtis (Ann) Kroll, Kathy Cray, Cory (Pat) Kroll, Bobbi (Cheryl) Kroll, Linda (Al) Harris, Tom (significant other Joanne) Kroll, and Jeffrey (Rhonda) Kroll; and special friend: Alice Wiegand. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Cheryl; daughter-in-law: Darlene Kroll; and brother-in-law: Gillbert Cray.
A funeral service to celebrate Dale's life will be held at 12pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Calvary Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeff Fricke officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the church from 10am until the time of service at 12pm. Dale will be laid to rest at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

Dale and Cheryl were very good friends over the years. Dale was my handyman after my husband died, Cheryl volantered him so he'd have something to do. A truely marvelous man all away around. Tim, you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of a magnificent father. God Bless!
