Dale McGee was born on July 29, 1996 at Womack Army Hospital to Richard and Peggy McGee. Dale earned his high school diploma from Tar Heel Challenge in Tar Heel, North Carolina.
Dale loved the game of baseball and was a pretty good pitcher. He played at Douglas Byrd High School and on the Traveling Baseball team which went to the all-star game every year he was on the team. He was also a Duke basketball fanatic. He absolutely loved the Duke and Tar Heel rivalry.
Dale loved being around the water fresh or saltwater. He was an avid fisherman and loved to catch bream. Dale loved catching brim so much he specifically purchased a fishing rod just for brim. When he was not fishing he loved going to the Carolina beach and Wilmington beach area, to hang out on the water.
Dale loved to eat and was a culinary specialist at Applebee's. His favorite food was spaghetti and he loved some good collard greens.
He also assisted two years in a row with the Fayetteville Fire department annual safety day. He would dress up as Sparky the fire dog to assist on the annual safety day.
Dale was called home by the Lord on May 7, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories are his parents Richard and Peggy,,his brother Robert McGee, his girlfriend Beth Bullard and host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
