Dunn, NC: Mr. Jerry Dale McLamb, age 63, of Fairground Road, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM-Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson, NC. Rev. Scott Johnson and Mr. Ronald Hudson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Dale was born on February 27, 1960 in Harnett County, NC to Bernice Hudson McLamb of Benson, NC and the late Jeirl McLamb. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Lee McLamb, and a brother, Danny Jeirl McLamb. Dale retired with 38 years as a staking engineer with South River Electric in Dunn, NC. He loved his family, golfing, his family garden, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters, Jamie Morgan of Benson, NC; Jordan Morgan Jackson and husband, Matthew of Spivey's Corner, NC; and Brandy McLamb Pollard and husband, Lee of Benson, NC; seven grandchildren, Gage Black, Chase Pollard, Ellis Sills, Cheyenne Jackson, Nash Sills, Sawyer Jackson, and Bryce Pollard; sister, Debbie Strickland and husband, Neil of Four Oaks, NC; several nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends; special dog, Dixie.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM-Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC, and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
