Dale was a woman with a heart as big as her love for her family. Her life revolved around the
people she cherished most, and she lived with unwavering devotion to her loved ones. She
spent many years running her own in-home childcare, a role that allowed her to nurture and
care for others with the same selflessness she brought to all aspects of her life. Dale later

She also showed her love for animals through her work at the local pet store, where she was
known for her kindness and compassionate care for the animals.
Dale was born and raised in Kent, CT, where she spent her early years before moving to
Warren, CT. She later moved to New Preston, CT, after she married her husband, Dennis
Meeker Sr. In 1982, Dale and Dennis settled in Bantam, CT, where they made their home for the
past 42 years, creating a life full of love, laughter, and family memories.
Predeceased by her mother, Doris Roller, father, William Roller, brother, Billy Roller and son
Dennis Meeker Jr., Dale is now reunited with them, as well as many beloved aunts and uncles.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Dennis Meeker Sr.; her daughters, Destinee Meeker,
Devan Meeker, and Camille Powell and her husband, Brent Powell; and her cherished
grandchildren, Braylon Powell, Micah Powell, and Lyleese Robinson, brothers Robert Fidell, John Roller and his wife Jennifer Roller, Michael Roller and his wife Melissa Roller, sister Wendy Belanger and her husband Jimmy Belanger, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Dale had a passion for cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time by the pool. She also had
a special love for the beach and Watch Hill Lighthouse, a place where she could relax and find
peace. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all
who knew her.

service to follow at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road,

fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave
throughout her life.
