Dale Payne Obituary
Dale was born on April 7, 1950, in Madison County, Kentucky, the son of the late Henry F. and Margaret Bucher Payne. Dale surrendered to God's calling many years ago and served as a pastor in the Church of God. He served several churches throughout and across Kentucky. Dale retired last year in September and returned home to Madison County.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Darlene Rose Payne; three grandchildren: Jordan Alan Payne, Lauren Faith Mullins (Jason) and Jalan Everette Lee Payne; two great-grandchildren: Everly and Elliott Mullins; one sister: Sondra Parke as well as a host of other relatives and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by one son: Gregory Alan Payne; one brother: Rickie Lee Payne and a sister: Cheryl Ann Kirby.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2026, at Life Church, 1705 Irvine Road, Richmond with Rev. Owen Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Madison Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at Life Church.
