Ruby Brock Obituary
She was born in Madison County in the Cuzick Community, the daughter of the late Welch & Annie Lowery Renfro. As a young lady, Ruby worked for Bob's Dinner, the Silver Dinner and then for EKU in the cafeteria. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, working word search puzzles and spending time with her family. Mrs. Brock was of the Baptist Faith and had in years past been a member of the Newby Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her daughter, Debra Brock Evans; her grandson, Robert Evans; one sister, Alene Renfro; her nephew, Cleo Renfro; her great-niece, Rachel Renfro; and her extended family at Madison Towers where she had lived for 32 years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Welch Renfro, Jr., Winston Renfro and Wallace Renfro; and one sister, Florine Renfro.
Services will be conducted at 1PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the Community Room of Madison Towers, 225 N. Madison Ave., Richmond, with Bro. Shawn Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 11AM on Thursday, at Madison Towers Community Room.
