Dale Augustus Politi passed away on August 18, 2025, in Scottsdale, AZ.

Dale was born December 22, 1937, in Bethlehem, PA to parents Edilo and Henrietta Politi (Smith).

At an early age Dale became interested in photography and as such was the photographer for his high school newspaper and yearbook. Upon High School graduation, Dale joined the US Air Force, and was sent to Williams Air Base in Chandler, AZ, as a photographer.

It was while stationed at Williams Air Base he met and married his first wife Patricia (Johann) and they were blessed with four children, Dale R (Lisa), Theresa Hyde (Mike), Brian and Robert.

After his Air Force service in 1959, he went to work for Goodyear Aerospace Corp. in Goodyear, AZ, as a photographic lab technician and was promoted to Manager of Photographic, Printing and Reproduction/Distribution services during his 20 years at this job.

From 1964-1979, Dale was also a police reserve officer with the Glendale Police Department.

In 1980 Dale moved to Sperry Flight Systems (Honeywell) in Phoenix as Printing and Distribution Services Manager. During his 19 years at Sperry/Honeywell he was also the manager of Photographic Services and Forms Management departments.

During this period, Dale met his second wife Karlene. They married on May 21, 1988. Dale retired from Honeywell in 2000 and continued his photography as a freelancer. He and Karlene also enjoyed golf, tennis, country dancing and exploring the great state of Arizona.

He leaves behind his four children; his stepson, Robert Brummond (Brandy); 12 grandchildren: Amber (Matt), Vincent, Travis (Whitney), Justin (Nicole), Valerie, Rachel (Brandon), Brigitte, Tiffany, Robert R. Jr., Jaden, Rylan, and Mason; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Nicholas (Alberta) and Carole (the late Kenneth) of Bethlehem, PA. He was predeceased by his youngest brother, Philip (Karen), and is remembered fondly by numerous extended family and friends.
