William Greer Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 20, 2026.
William Robert Greer, loving husband and father, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2026. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. Bill was born on December 7, 1959, in Seattle, Washington. He was the son of Doris and Jack Greer, and the youngest of five rambunctious brothers (Gary, Tim, Randy, and David Greer). Throughout his childhood, the family and their animals adopted along the way moved from the Pacific Northwest and finally settled down in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bill graduated from Thunderbird High School in 1978 and from there, received his BS in Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University. While working as a System Engineer at IBM, he met his wife of 38 years, Connie. The two were married in the fall of 1987. Bill pursued his interest in international business at Thunderbird School of Global Management which led him through an executive development program at Teleflex Inc. Bill and Connie then moved to California where he served in a variety of executive positions in the IT, medical, and aerospace industries across the globe, as well as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine and California Lutheran Universities.

Bill enjoyed meeting new people from all walks of life, and his genuine care for others touched all who knew him. He was a devoted husband and proud father of two daughters, Tatiana and Anastasia, who will carry on his legacy. Dance-Dad, soccer-Dad, girl-Dad and overall Greer team cheerleader, Bill's devotion to his family, wife, and God is everlasting. His life emulated the servanthood and love of our lord Jesus Christ.

May his memory be eternal.
