Dale Elmer Roller

Dale Elmer Roller of Saginaw, formerly of Unionville, age 79, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 at his home in Saginaw. He was born November 21, 1945 in Caro, the son of the late Marion (Stoll) Roller and Elmer & Alice (Hartwell) Roller. Dale graduated from Unionville Community High School with the class of 1963. He went on to join the United States Army Reserves and then attended Ferris State University. Dale worked at General Motors – Saginaw Steering Gear for nearly twenty years, retiring in 1987. He loved collecting baseball cards, watching baseball, and in his younger years, playing baseball. Dale was brought up on the family farm with his brothers and worked hard in the fields. He was a huge University of Michigan fan and loved the rivalry between him and his die-hard Spartan fan brother, Bob.
Dale leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers & sister-in-law, Stuart & Sue Roller of Caro stepbrother, Dale & Janet Ewald of Sebewaing; nephew, Kevin & Shelly Roller of Dexter; niece, Michelle Roller of Caro; eight great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew, Kelsey, Isabella, Alexis, and Collin Roller, all of Dexter, and Isaac (Micah) Joslyn of Finley, Ohio, Emma Joslyn and Luke Joslyn, both of Caro. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Roller.
In keeping with Dale's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Unionville Moravian Church.
